Stepping out into the real world and setting a professional career may undoubtedly be one of the scariest experiences that any JPMAPer may have yet to face in the future. Hence, the Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP) Cebu which is a premier organization of future human resource practitioners and people managers, will be holding its 10th JPMAP Cebu Summit this coming November 24, 2019 at the Rudolf Rahmann Cultural Center, University of San Carlos- South Campus, J. Alcantara St., Cebu City.
This year’s JPMAP Summit, with the theme “Amplify”, aims to involve JPMAP members from the various academic chapters in Cebu, and its alumni body to enhance their skills, knowledge, and abilities as well as their talents to become globally competitive people managers. The summit is specially organized in such a way that it will consist of a series of talks regarding the uncovered realities and challenges of becoming future people managers.
Having been recognized as both an expert and an inspiration in the human resource field, Zoominglife’s very own Kristen Marie Sesante-Leopoldo, has been cordially invited to be one of the guest speakers of the 10th JPMAP Summit to share her valuable insights and talk about: “#GetInvolved: How To Build A Better Digital World”
For this coffee table discussion, Leopoldo will be tackling about the importance of establishing a professional and corporate brand for every JPMAPer who is just about to start their careers and to understand the importance of being responsible online as well as to know how to utilize the internet for business success in one’s department. Topic discussions will revolve mainly on ethical standards, what not to post or do online and encouraging development through social media.
According to JPMAP Cebu Board of Trustee, Caesar Ian Real, the Summit has already gathered over 300 paid registrants out of the targeted 500 which include Psychology, HRDM and some Engineering students from CIT-U, BC, UCLM, UCMAIN, USJR, USC, and UC Banilad.
Leopoldo graduated with a degree in Mass Communications at St. Theresa’s College in 1997-2002 and later took up Law school at the University of San Carlos in 2006. She is associated with numerous reputable organizations and is the President of the Press Photographers of the Philippines- Cebu Chapter and Secretary of the Cordova Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
She is also a part-time college instructor at the Department of Journalism and Communication of USJR, Operations and HR Manager of a rural BPO, Performance360 Global Services, located in Cordova, Cebu and the Founder of Zoominglife.com,
