In the spirit of celebrating the company’s anniversary, the Golden Prince Hotel and Suites held a photography competition entitled, DAKPAN! with the theme: “Golden moments through Silver Lenses”. Golden Valley the hotel that made Golden Prince possible is celebrating its 25th Anniversary while Golden Prince hotel celebrates its 13th year. Over twenty entries were submitted online, including our handpicked participants Jolex Lim, EmmanSawit, RA Roque, Rey Opana, Bibi Delos Reyes and new blood, Jeff Caliso. The contest didn’t have a registration fee, participants only needed to hand over their USB that contained their photo entries.
The contest started at 8am with a briefing of the categories and the scope and limitations of the shoot. The photographers were given access to the rooms, the kitchen and all the outlets where they were given the freedom to shoot. Inspired by the hotel’s tagline, unique Cebuano experience, the photographers were challenged to take photos that encouraged Golden Moments that is definitely Cebuano. The photographers were also given the chance to enjoy our Cebuano menu through a lunch buffet and merienda served while the contest was on going.
The best photos will be awarded on the event of the anniversary on September 27, 2019 at the Golden Prince Hotel and Suites. May the best photo win!
