Discover Scents for Marketing Success: Ela Essentials

Do you ever walk into an establishment and immediately recognize what it is just based on the smell?

Apparently, this is a conscious effort among businessmen as a form of marketing their brands through scent. And more businesses are now seeing the benefits of this type of promotion.

In order to ride this trend, scent brand Ela Essentials launched its 12 signature scents during a Media Reveal last July 29 at the Asmara Urban Resort and Lifestyle Village.

Ela Essentials business development manager Mikaela Pacubas said that they have conducted a survey and saw the need to develop the scents.

Ela Essentials, which opened just last March 2019, creates options and opportunities in the Philippine market for individuals and companies to use scent as a pivotal tool for success.

According to Mikaela Pacubas, business development manager of Ela Essentials, they came up with the idea when they saw that businesses have started understanding the importance of influencing every aspect of their brands including the missing component of the power of scent in completing this experience.

“The scent marketing industry in the world, especially Europe and the United States, are mature. The Philippines is still starting,” said Pacubas. The company is ready to fill this gap in the emerging market.

In addition to offering a price range that even startup businesses can afford, Ela Essentials provides complete services such as replenishment of essential oils, equipment installation, and maintenance.

They are also making the brand accessible in major cities of the country, with a Manila branch to open soon after their launch in Cebu.

“We like to think of ourselves as your ‘scentsible’ partner in progress,” Pacubas said

The 12 kinds of essential oils they offer include favorites like Eucalyptus and Peppermint, to new favorites like Lily of the Valley and Sandalwood.

“We will also offer fusion oils in the future and custom scents for those that want to translate their brands to signature smells. These are sustainably sourced and procured from responsible supplier provenances and using ingredients that come from different places like Spain and the Middle East,” Pacubas said.

“Ela Essentials is a play of the name Mikaela. It represents the playful nature brought about by scent even as scent proves to be the undefined, unseen, yet inherently a vital partner in everyone’s daily productivity and success,” she added.

They have been in the industry of establishment care for a total of 68 years. With Pacubas General Services providing manpower to keep spaces intact for 53 years and Surebright Manufacturing Industries Inc. providing the chemicals for industry care, personal care, and car care.

“We wanted to make it holistic. Of all the services provided above, the only scent was missing to make a space complete. So we created Ela Essentials as a brand under Surebright,” Pacubas shared.
