Mactan Island, known for its picturesque beaches and vibrant tourist scene, is welcoming a new culinary destination—Isla. Nestled in the tranquil cove of Hadsan Beach in Agus, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Isla officially open its doors on May 5, 2024, offering a dining experience that harmoniously blends affordability with quality.

Isla’s operations manager, Lieda Evangelista, emphasizes the restaurant’s commitment to simplicity and quality. “Our goal is to provide a dining experience that allows our guests to enjoy high-quality meals at affordable prices, all while basking in the gentle seabreeze,” she shared.

With seating for up to 70 patrons, Isla is designed to be both intimate and inviting. The menu features a variety of dishes, with an emphasis on pizzas and pastas, alongside crowd-favorite appetizers. Beverage options are plentiful, including local and imported beers, an array of wines, cocktails, mocktails, and seasonal fruit shakes, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences.

Highlighting its dedication to freshness and quality, Isla’s food consultant, Mr. Jim Anthony Uy, points out the meticulous approach to sourcing ingredients. “We buy our ingredients fresh daily, as we don’t store stocks. This practice ensures that our customers enjoy a healthy and memorable dining experience with their loved ones,” he stated. This strategy not only underscores Isla’s commitment to quality but also supports local suppliers by prioritizing fresh, local produce.

Isla will operate from 2 PM to 11 PM on weekdays, with extended hours on weekends, from 10 AM to 12 midnight, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and relaxed evening meals.

As Isla prepares for its grand opening, it promises to be more than just a restaurant; it’s poised to become a destination where both locals and tourists can come together to enjoy good food, stunning views, and the serene ambiance of Hadsan Beach. Whether it’s savoring a meal as the sun sets or enjoying a drink under the stars, Isla offers a unique experience that captures the essence of island dining.
