Cebu Ocean Park, the country’s largest oceanarium, will definitely dazzle their visitors this holiday season with their Winter Waterland theme.

Visitors will be greeted with a  nine-meter tall Nemo-themed Christmas tree, underwater Santas, and get the chance to play carnival games from December 11 to January 6, 2020.

A vast aquatic underwater scenery holiday vibes will be witnessed by the visitors as animal care divers swim inside the oceanarium in their Santa suits.

The Cebu Ocean Park and Events Center had a Christmas Tree lighting last December 11, 2019.

Outside the park are fun carnival game booths such as Ho Ho Hoops, Reindeer Toss, Winter Ducks, and Frosty Wars where players can win exciting prizes. A wish-granting Santa Claus, who will not only meet and greet the kids on weekends but also grant the wish of one lucky letter-sender every week, is the highlight of the park’s Christmas offerings.

The weekly winner will be picked from the kids who dropped a note to the “Letters to Santa” box displayed at the park.

“It’s our first Christmas here in Cebu so we made the experience of visiting Cebu Ocean Park more fun and a bit magical especially for the children while instilling the spirit of giving even in the simplest way we can,” said Cebu Ocean Park general manager Hitesh Sampat during the lighting ceremony.

The Christmas lighting was led by Cebu Ocean Park’s President Lim Chee Yong together with his wife Priscilla and daughter Aurelia along with the rest of the management team.

The Limited-edition Tribal Penguin Plushie toys are available at the Cebu Ocean Park Gift Shop.

Sampat added that they have invited the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc. carolers to perform every weekend at the park’s air-conditioned main tank gallery to further help them raise funds on top of the donation that will be given.
