“We’re grateful to have reached the quarterfinals, but this year’s field is stacked with talented teams,” Cabellon said. “We’ll need to double down on our preparations. All the remaining teams are serious contenders.”

The HRRACI Basketball Tournament, overseen by Commissioner Calib Gawangon, is one of eight sporting events within the two-month-long HRRACI Sportsfest 2024. The sportsfest, chaired by Cebu Grand Hotel General Manager Carlo Anton Suarez, culminates on July 21st, 2024. The sporting event is managed by The Right Access Digital Solutions Inc, led by Kristen Marie Sesante-Leopoldo, and Joel Juarez of JMJ Production.

Shangri-La and Bai Hotel dominated their respective brackets, finishing the elimination round with perfect 4-0 records. Joining them in the Final Eight are Seda Central Bloc, JPark Island Resort and Waterpark, Diamond Suites and Residences, and Belmont Hotel, each boasting impressive 3-0 records.

Kandaya Resort and Quest Hotel also secured spots in the next round through an alternative path. They earned the highest total points among the 26 competing teams (excluding the top seeds in each bracket).

Quarterfinal action begins on June 21st at the Capitol Parish Gym. Fans can expect intense competition as these eight teams vie for the championship title.
