UC Webmasters Claim Double Glory in Anta 4×4 Visayas Leg, Secure Nationals Berth

The University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters cemented their basketball dominance in the Visayas region, ruling the Anta 4×4 Basketball Tournament held last Saturday, July 6, at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

In a thrilling all-UC Webmasters championship game, UC-B, led by Zareygel Rosano, Jhiey Paraldo, Luther Leonard, John Carl Angelio, and Ricofer Sordilla, edged out their UC-A counterparts with a close 21-19 victory.

Despite falling short in the finals, UC-A, composed of Danie Boy Lapiz, Jasper Pacaña, Mark Jhon Ecal, Jepherson Nonol, and Mc Steven Ursal, will still join their fellow Webmasters in representing the Visayas region at the National Finals slated for August 18 at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City, Metro Manila.

This latest triumph adds another chapter to the Webmasters’ winning streak. Just two weeks prior, they emerged victorious in the Diaz Bros Open Basketball Tournament 2024 held at the Tagana-an Sports Complex in Tagana-an, Surigao del Norte. The UC Webmasters are definitely a team to watch as they head to the Nationals.
