Cenelyn Maguilimotan-Dalnay, Robinsons Land Corporation Regional Operations Manager April Love Inso and Robinsons Galleria Cebu Mall Manager Richard Sarmiento.

A thousand runners are expected to join the Hunat Sugbu 12: Dagan Para ni Maning event this June 22, 2025, at Robinsons Galleria Cebu. The race, organized by Parklane Hotels and Resorts, aims not only to encourage health and fitness but also to honor the late Manuel “Maning” G. Ting, the beloved former president of the hotel group.

The announcement was made during a media launch on March 21, 2025, by Atty. Cenelyn Maguilimotan-Dalnay, the Chief Operating Officer of Parklane Hotels and Resorts, alongside key partners including Robinsons Land Corporation Regional Operations Manager April Love Inso, Robinsons Galleria Cebu Mall Manager Richard Sarmiento, Hunat Sugbo Chairman Nicanor Nacorda, and race director Joel Baring.

“For over a decade, we’ve always emphasized that this isn’t just a fun run but a run for a cause. Over the last 12 years, we’ve supported a community, and we’re proud to continue that tradition,” said Maguilimotan-Dalnay. This year, part of the proceeds will fund a medical mission in Barangay Barrio Luz on July 5, which will provide services such as surgical, dental, optical, and legal aid, all free of charge. The medical mission will be held at the Barangay Barrio Luz Elementary School and is open to everyone in need of assistance.

“We have partnered with various organizations such as the Department of Health, Cebu Doctors Hospital, the Philippine Coast Guard Medical and Dental team, the Airforce, Army dental team, Adult and Child for Opto, and the IBP Cebu City for legal aid services,” added Maguilimotan-Dalnay. “This is truly a community service, and we encourage every runner to participate and be part of this noble cause. As the saying goes, every stride gives hope to those in need.”

In addition to the medical mission, the event will feature a new finisher’s medal design inspired by a dream catcher. Designer Ervin Limpag explained that the design symbolizes good sleep and wellness, promoting a healthy lifestyle for all participants.

Meanwhile, April Love Inso, Robinsons Galleria Regional Operations Manager, expressed excitement in once again hosting the event. “We take pride in this partnership, as it shares the same goal of fostering unity within the community. We believe in the power of bringing people together, and Robinsons Mall remains steadfast in supporting meaningful events like this,” said Inso.
